Podar Education complex, is a dynamic constantly evolving nucleus, imparting education at various levels. It has been established by Anandilal and Ganesh Podar society, established in 1927, i.e. 82 years back. The motto of the society is ‘excellence in Education’ and the trustees make every effort to live up to this ideal. Today it has multifarious activities that cater to the needs of children as well as adults.

An Educationist with over 25 years of experience in education, sha is presently heading Podar Education Network as its President. Under her guidance, the preschools Podar Jumbo Kids and daycare Podar Happy Kids are fast spreading all over India.
She also heads the Podar Institute of Education as a Director. The Institute has one year diploma course in early childhood education and certificate course in learning disabilities.
Advocacy for children has been her mission and passion, especially advocating for stress free education and childhood for children, right from the pre primary years. She has written three books, one for children -MR.PENCIL AND FRIENDS; one for teachers- HOW TO TEACH SO KIDS CAN LEARN and one for parents-ARE YOU UNKNOWINGLY HARMING YOUR CHILD?
She is an educational advisor to many multi national companies for children related products. She is also leader for Asia for the NATURE ACTION COLLABRATIVE FOR CHILDREN, an international mission to combat global warming by ensuring that young children love nature. She is a member; student of the NAEYC (National Association for Education of Young Children). She promotes puppetry in education and entertainment. She has trained teachers from the Education Department of Mumbai in this art and has been felicitated with an award for the same.
Among other work that she has done as an educational consultant, is setting up and designing numerous pre-schools in Mumbai and Calcutta.
